Fren’Cherry Miller

Fren’Cherry Miller is a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a lifelong servant-leader from Jackson, Tennessee. A native son of Jackson–Madison County, he was educated in Jackson Public Schools, where faith, family, discipline, and perseverance shaped his character and commitment to service.

For more than 30 years, Fren’Cherry served with honor in leadership roles across the Marine Corps, guiding teams, supporting wounded and recovering Marines, and earning a reputation for integrity, accountability, and compassion. His distinguished service is reflected in multiple commendations recognizing excellence, readiness, and leadership.

If elected, he will make history as the first African American County Mayor in the county’s nearly 225-year history, carrying forward a vision grounded in community, opportunity, and responsibility to the people he serves.
